House Rules

  • This is a no-smoking property. This includes back and front porches and garden.
  • It is assumed that the tenant-landlord relationship will be one of mutual respect and consideration, especially regarding parking, music, noise, entertaining, etc.

Inside

  • If there is any problem with plumbing, electrical, or heating, call the landlord immediately.
  • If there are any pest-control problems, call the landlord immediately—no spraying of pesticides is permitted on the property (inside or outside).
  • No dogs or large birds. Indoor cats (no more than two), small birds (parakeets or smaller), or small animals (hamsters, guinea pigs) or fish housed in aquariums or cages are permitted. (The landlord has dogs.)
  • No painting/wallpapering the walls.
  • The landlord must agree to, and must be present for, any installation involving cables, satellite dishes, etc.

Outside

  • Close all gates at all times.
  • Keep the front door locked at all times.
  • The parking space closest to the back gate is reserved for the landlord.
  • The back area is a tow zone. If having a guest, call the landlord with the following information to avoid towing: car make/model and duration of visit.
  • No storage on back or front porch or front hall.
